Lise-Anne is the creator of Project Vermont and ReMarket, focusing her creative work on building a circular economy that keeps textiles and art supplies out of landfills. Her passion for sustainable design grew significantly during a four-year partnership with the national eco-conscious clothing brand Outerknown. Under her Project Vermont initiative, Lise-Anne took Outerknown's damaged garments, fabric scraps, and leftover production materials and upcycled them into entirely new items. By giving these discarded materials a second life, her project kept thousands of pounds of high-quality textile waste out of landfills.

Building on that success, Lise-Anne expanded her mission by opening ReMarket, a lively multi-vendor shop in downtown Saint Albans, Vermont. Operating under the Project Vermont umbrella, ReMarket serves as both a store and a collaborative community hub. The space is rented out to local vendors who sell vintage items, thrifted finds, and antiques, while Lise-Anne and her core team continue to upcycle discarded clothing and fabric scraps into unique goods.

For Lise-Anne, the storefront is also a major hub for community connection. In the basement workshop space, ReMarket hosts regular, hands-on community classes—like watercolor, stained glass, felting, knitting, and sewing—giving people a welcoming place to learn new crafts and share ideas.

Lise-Anne's latest effort focuses on expanding the Community Art Box (CAB) project with co-founder Katie Gingras. In addition to permanent spots, there are now mobile Community Art Boxes that local organizations, businesses, or neighbors can borrow to host at their own locations. The CAB is a unique "make and take" art box where people can make art, take art, and share art. Operating entirely as a donation-based model, community members drop off art and craft supplies they no longer need, and the project offers them for free to anyone who wants to create. Visitors are always welcome to stop by, connect, and get inspired.
